The 2022 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be the 92nd Major League Baseball All-Star Game, held between the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). The game is at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Dodger Stadium was slated to host the 2020 All-Star Game, but it was canceled and moved to another year (which is this year due to COVID-19 pandemic).
This ASG is on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 8:00pm EDT (5:00pm PDT locally). It is going to be televised on FOX. The players will wear the All-Star baseball jerseys, not their respective team jerseys (like they did in the 2022 Home Run Derby).
If the 2022 MLB ASG ends with a tie after 9 full innings, the tiebreaking "HR Derby" will take place instead of extra innings. Three players from each league team will take 3 swings each. A team with more combined home runs will win the tiebreaker and will get the league team to win the 2022 ASG.

Notable Happenings[]
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the 2021 ASG MVP. He will start batting clean-up (4th batter).
- Juan Soto is the 2022 HRD winner. He is not starting, but he will get into a game later.
- William & Willson Contreras are the 5th pair of brothers to start an All-Star Game at the same time. Willson is an elected starter as a catcher while William is an injury replacement.
- Shohei Ohtani, the leadoff DH, gets a hit for a good start. However, he is picked off by Clayton Kershaw (and Paul Goldschmidt) when Aaron Judge is batting.
- Ronald Acuña Jr., the leadoff NL batter, gets a hit for a good start after his season-ending injury in 2021. Mookie Betts gets Acuña to score.
- Paul Goldschmidt hits a home run off Shane McClanahan to extend NL's lead 2-0 in the 1st inning.
- Double Play for the AL in the 1st inning (Vlad ends this play on a "good note")
- Alek Manoah, a Blue Jays pitcher, gets all 3 strikeouts in the bottom 2nd inning. He has a batter swinging, a batter a foul tip, and a batter called out on strikes.
- Giancarlo Stanton hits a 2-run HR in the 4th inning to tie the game at 2.
- Byron Buxton hits a back-to-back HR after Giancarlo Stanton in the 4th inning to get the AL the lead 3-2.
- Gregory Soto (AL pitcher) faces against Juan Soto (NL batter) in the bottom of the 7th inning. No relation to each other. Juan Jose Soto Pacheco grounds out.
- Emmanuel Clase pitches in the bottom of the 9th inning to save for the American League to win. He pitches for 3 strikeouts (just like Alek Manoah did before) (2 called, 1 foul tip) with only 10 pitches (almost immaculate).
