Were a team that had a strange name but it was for a good reason.� They had two championship seasons in the Southern Lg (1885 and 1898). When the Southern Assn began in 1902 they won 19 titles. These years were: 1907, 1909, 1913, 1917, 1919, 1924-25, 1935-36, 1938-39, 1941, 1945-46, 1950, 1954, 1956-57 and 1960. This made them one of the most successful minor league teams.
