Brian Edward Sweeney (born June 13, 1974) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who is currently the pitching coach for the Kansas City Royals. He played in the major leagues for the Seattle Mariners (2003, 2010) and the San Diego Padres (2004, 2006), as well as in the NPB for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters (2007–2009). He was previously a coach for the Cleveland Indians/Guardians from 2018-2022.
