Edith Grace Houghton worked as a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1946 to 1952. She played professional baseball on various women's teams before this, and was most well-known for starting her career at age 10 with the Philadelphia Bobbies in 1922. She died in 2013, just days short of her 101st birthday.
