Edwin Encarnacion is a designated hitter, first baseman and third baseman. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 9th round of the 2000 MLB Draft. From 2005-2009 he played for the Cincinnati Reds. He then played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 2009 to 2016. After that, he played for the Cleveland Indians, before finally settling in Seattle to play for the Seattle Mariners. He has been an all star 3 times, in 2013, 2014 and 2016.
