Enrique Sevilla (born 2005) is a Cuban-Russian baseball pitcher who signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers on January 15, 2022.
Biography[]
Sevilla was born in Russia in 2005 to a Cuban father and a Russian mother. As a child his family moved to Spain for some time. Enrique's father taught him how to play baseball at a young age, and he began playing in tournaments all over Europe, in cities such as London and Berlin. Sevilla could reportedly throw a 90 mile an hour fastball. In 2021, he was noticed by scout, Nestor Perez Sr. who helped sign him to the Los Angeles Dodgers on January 15, 2022 at the young age of just 16.
