The Great West League (GWL) is a collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2014, but didn't play until 2016, comprising teams from California and Oregon. The league is designed to develop college talent, and only current college eligible players are allowed to participate. League teams are operated just like professional minor league teams.
2016 - Chico Ca, Lodi Ca, Marysville, Ca, Medford Or, Portland Or, Sacramento Ca
2017 - Lincoln Ca and Yuba City Ca enter the League and Lodi and Sacramento Ca has left the League
2018 - Chico Ca, Klamath Falls Or, Lincoln Ca, Medford Ca, San Francisco, Ca, Yuba City Ca
