Juan Roberto (Gonzalez) Agosto born February 23, 1958 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico was primarily a Relief Pitcher for the Chicago White Sox (1981-86), Minnesota Twins (1986), Houston Astros (1987-90) and 1993), St. Louis Cardinals (1991-92) and Seattle Mariners (1992).

He helped the White Sox win the 1983 American League Western Division.

Agosto's best season was 1988, when he started the season with 10 consecutive wins. He finished 10-2 in 75 games, with an Earned Run Average of 2.26. Agosto led the National League in Games (82) in 1990.
