Cecil Randolph "Randy" Hundley Jr. (born June 1, 1942) is an American former catcher and coach in Major League Baseball. He played for the San Francisco Giants (1964-1965), Chicago Cubs (1966-1973, 1976-1977), Minnesota Twins (1974), and the San Diego Padres (1975). Hundley played the majority of his career with the Cubs and was considered their leader in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Despite being a light-hitter, Hundley was regarded as one of the best defensive catchers of his era, and the best Cubs catcher.
