He debuted on June 29, 2004 for the Montreal Expos against the Philadelphia Phillies. He pitched for them untill 2008. In 2009 he played for the San Diego Padres. In 2010 and 2012 he played for the Toronto Blue Jays. He signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers for the 2013 season.
