Stover William McIlwain (September 22, 1939 – January 15, 1966), nicknamed "Smokey", was an American professional baseball pitcher who played in two games for the Chicago White Sox from 1957 to 1958.

Reports state that McIlwain died in 1966 from testicular cancer, however thedeadballera.com states that he actually died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
