The Union Grounds in Cincinnati existed from 1867 until 1875 and was the home field of the first Professional Baseball Club named the Cincinnati Redstockings where the
Cincinnati Red Stockings had an unprecedented undefeated streak that ended with a 8-7, extra-inning loss to the Brooklyn Atlantics on June 14, 1870, after 81 consecutive wins. This streak followed their perfect 57-0 season in 1869, making their overall record 138 games without a loss between the two seasons.
